Process parliamentary inquiry started off

WILLEMSTAD — The Justice Committee of the Parliament will meet on Friday, May 25th to discuss the parliamentary inquiry into the functioning of the Intelligence Service Curaçao (VDC), its predecessor the Intelligence Service Netherlands Antilles (VNA) and the investigation methods of the Public Prosecutor.A proposal must be drawn up that is to be approved in the Central Committee and eventually in a public meeting of the Parliament.

Gloomy prospects for Curaçao at CFATF-meeting

WILLEMSTAD — The official delegation that is to attend the plenary meeting of the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF) in El Salvador next week will leave this weekend with unwilling steps. WILLEMSTAD — The PAR-party in the Parliament wants to discuss a joint draft letter from the parliaments of Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten in a public meeting of the Parliament. WILLEMSTAD — Telecommunication Company UTS is not obligated to employ 27 temporary employees according to the judge in summary proceedings instituted against UTS and subsidiary TDS.
